2009
Setting up of a dialogue between the Indian Government (AYUSH) and international Ayurveda representatives.

2010
Official study of Ayurveda as a medical system in India and how it can be recognised in Switzerland (Swiss Embassy to New Delhi)

2010
Publication of WHO guidelines for professional training in Ayurveda.

2011
Publication of the first randomised, double-blind clinical pilot study showing that Ayurveda can be assessed by Western scientific criteria while retaining its special characteristics (holistic and personalised approach). 
Clinical Study Comparing Classic Ayurvedic Medicine, Methotrexate, and Their Combination in Rheumatoid Arthritis 

2011
First 
global online database for scientific research in Ayurveda and related sciences linked to PubMed: Digital Helpline for Ayurveda Research Articles, DHARA.

Since 2012
First introductory lectures on Ayurveda 
for undergraduate medical (third-year) students in a regular curriculum of a medical faculty in the West (University Hospital Centre Vaud, Lausanne, Switzerland)

2005-14
Regulation and accreditation of Ayurveda Medicine and Ayurveda Therapy under two new government recognised professions leading to Federal Diploma and being reimbursed by health insurances in Switzerland.


2015
Launching of MedVaidya, a pioneering high level training program for international students in Ayurveda medicine according to WHO, AYUSH and Swiss regulatory directives and to BAMS content. 

2016
Recognition of the Swiss regulatory model for the globalisation of Ayurveda as a medical system by the Government of India.
